Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy and eat? Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. ~Isaiah 55:1

 Dear One:

I have a tendency to go out without cash.  Come lunchtime, my wallet reveals a crumpled bill, a couple of miscellaneous coins, a button, Martin Luther medallion, and definitely not enough to buy lunch.  Nevertheless, I have NO idea what it means to be hungry and without money to buy food.  So imagine what God's great sumptuous feast, free of charge, means to people whose entire lives consist of hunger and poverty.

And I wonder:  How are we sharing God's Good News through bread and hope?

 In Christ,
