God’s Work Our Hands Day is September 9th and our plan is to work at the local Ronald McDonald House on Bath Ave. in Long Branch.  There will be jobs for everyone at all skill levels! There is a signup sheet on the kiosk so we can begin planning. Please help us prepare by signing up now. The house needs to know how many people are coming so they can plan jobs for us – please either sign up or let the office know if you plan to participate!

The order for t-shirts went in this past Monday.

If anyone would like to put in for a Thrivent Action Team event for God’s Work Our Hands Day – now is the time!! We can put one in for cleaning supplies, one for garden supplies, one for food to feed the team before heading out.  Please let Debbie K or Sue Homza know if you need assistance

THRIVENT FINANCIAL:  Have a project you’d like to see happen? If you or someone you know is a Thrivent member, it can happen!  See Deb Keszler or Sue Homza for guidance on how to file for a Thrivent Action team event.  Also, if you are a Thrivent member, you could have choice dollars to donate to the charity of your choice such as Reformation!  We can help you do that too! We’ve just gotten 3 members approved for Action Team Events with regards to VBS – you too can have that success!! Now, that VBS is over, we need to plan God’s Work Our Hands Day and could use some Thrivent Action Team Events for food, t-shirts, and supplies to do God’s Work with Our Hands at Ronald McDonald House on September 9th!!

School Supplies: We are collecting school supplies for area children in need served through our food pantry and/or the Meal at Noon program.  ITEMS NEEDED ARE:
