Food Pantry

The Reformation Community Food Pantry’s mission is “to simply feed the hungry”.
Begun close to 30 years ago, the food pantry provides food to over 500 food insecure
families each month. While every client must undergo an initial interview and then a
once a year follow up interview, we strive to treat every family we serve as if they were a
member of our own family. Our goal is to give each family we serve not only food but, a
hand-up with not just a sympathetic ear but assistance and referrals to other benefits
available in NJ.
Donations are always gratefully accepted any time in the breezeway by the food pantry.
As with all volunteer run programs, we are always in need of volunteers on Tuesday
evenings from 530-9pm and Tuesday mornings at 10am for deliveries. If you would like
to help this ministry, please reach out to Debbie at wlbfoodpantry@gmail.com.
Hours of operation: Tuesday evenings 7-830pm

Community Clothes Closet

Reformation’s Community Clothes Closet provides clothing free of charge to all people in need. We offer seasonal clothing in sizes ranging from newborn through adult. We often have shoes, socks, and various accessories. All items are donated, inspected for cleanliness, and hung by size and category.
HOURS OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY
2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays of the month – 8am-10am (must be signed in by 10AM to shop)
First-time visitors should bring a form of ID that includes your name and address to be registered as a client. Clients are welcome to visit once a month during our regularly scheduled hours if there is a need. Space is limited, therefore only 2 adults per family will be admitted to shop, no children please. This will ensure that everyone that comes for clothing will get a turn to shop while we are open.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
-
Donate Clothing: We accept new and gently used items that are currently in-season. Clothing should be clean and in good condition (no rips or stains), from a smoke-free home. Bagged donations can be dropped off at 992 Broadway, West Long Branch in the yellow bin. Enter the parking lot on Locust Ave and you’ll see a yellow bin on the left by the double doors. Please leave donations in the bin only.
-
Volunteer with Us: We need volunteers who are willing to work on Saturday mornings, 7:45am-11am. Volunteers will be helping clients as needed, keeping clothing neat and organized, removing empty hangers, restocking areas as needed, etc.
-
Donate Financially: Click on the DONATE section of this website and designate where you’d like the funds to go.
-
Organize a Collection Drive: We rely on donations to stock our racks, and sometimes we fall short. Reach out to see what our current needs are and organize a collection drive.
