UPCOMING EVENTS

LOOKING AHEAD:  On March 3rd we will hold our Transfiguration Sunday Pancake Brunch; and on March 10th we will hold our International Women’s Day Tea; both will be immediately after worship.  Stayed tuned for details!!

We’ll soon be putting together our 2019 Church Directory. As soon as all new chairpersons are elected, the new directory will be created. Please check the current directory and send any necessary changes for your information to the church office at reformationwlb@gmail.com.   Please don’t assume we have any changes.  We try to make the directory as accurate as possible but we do make mistakes from time to time.  Thank you!

EASTER LILIES AND TULIPS: We’ll be looking to place orders for our lilies and tulips within the next month so please be on the lookout for order forms!!

First Communion Class: When to begin receiving Communion is a mutual decision made by the person, their parents and the Pastor.  If there is anyone who desires to receive the sacrament, the first step in the process is to receive the age appropriate study materials and information.  Please reach out to Debbie K for the material.

Food Pantry/Clothes Closet update: As this is written, we are preparing to move the food pantry from one building to the next TOMORROW MORNING!  As you can see above, the refrigeration is all moved in!  Desks are together, cable and phone are installed, and new shelving is ready.  We’ll begin around 10 – 10:30 a.m. this Saturday to pack up and move all the stock to the new pantry!

MEETINGS AND UPCOMING MEETINGS:

Evangelism – will meet on 2/20

Fellowship – will meet on 2/24

Discover the Joy of being a Hospice Volunteer

If you have a warm heart, a listening ear, and the gift of compassion, you can make a difference in the life of a hospice patient or family member.  VNA Health Group is inviting individuals interested in becoming hospice volunteers to join our team in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties.

There are many rewards and opportunities available to hospice volunteers though home visitation, companionship, administrative support, pet therapy, or any complimentary therapies. We are also seeking volunteers interested in providing support calls to our patients and family members from our offices. Training will be provided by members of the Hospice team.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Pauline De Palma, BSW (732) 224-6933 or email: pauline.depalma@vnahg.org
