WEEKLY E-MESSENGER FROM THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE REFORMATION

For the Week Beginning November 23, 2018

Christ the King Sunday

THE WEEK AT REFORMATION

Saturday – 5:00 p.m. Service of Holy Communion

Sunday – 9:30 a.m. Service of Holy Communion

Wednesday – 10 a.m. Eucharist followed by Prayer Ministry

This note was received this week from Thrivent – thank you to all of you for all your donations of soup!!

Congratulations.  Your Thrivent Action Team’s efforts on behalf of The Reformation Community Food Pantry have earned that organization a $500 donation from Thrivent.  Payment is currently being processed by Thrivent.  Please advise the receiving organization to look for that check to arrive in the mail no later than December 14, 2018.

You and other Thrivent members from across the Northeast have collectively donated thousands of volunteer hours to gather close to 70,000 food items for those in need this holiday season.  That’s a real bite out of food insecurity across the region at a critical time of the year.  The way you’ve chosen to #LiveGenerously is such an inspiration!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Have a blessed day,

JENNIFER COAN-MAHMOOD
Thrivent Member Network Specialist
Northeast Region

The office will be closed Thursday and Friday this week for Thanksgiving

We wish all of you and your families a Blessed Thanksgiving

Thank you Bill Homza and the team of workers for all the hard week trimming, weeding, and cleaning this past Saturday
