Community outreach is an important part of life at Reformation. Since 1997 Reformation has partnered with 5 other local churches in running the Meal at Noon free lunch program (soup kitchen) at the Second Baptist Church in Long Branch. The program provides a hot meal on Saturdays from 11-1 p.m. and a brown bag lunch on Wednesdays at 12 noon free of charge. During 2013, we served over 6,200 meals to those in need in our community.

Reformation volunteers are involved in all aspects of Meal at Noon, serving as cooks, servers, as well as in management positions. Through Meal at Noon we at Reformation are able be true to our mission statement “Praise God, Serve others”.
