40 DAYS OF GIVING DURING LENT

SOCIAL MINISTRY AND CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Didn’t the kids (and adults too!) look great on Sunday in their pj’s?  We have two bins of pajamas for our 40 days of giving drive to supply our clothes closet with new pajamas in all sizes.  Can we make it three?? Please consider purchasing a pair or two. Check out those clearance racks at the mall or online – there are amazing deals!!

Lutheran World Relief – Ukraine:

If you would like to support the ELCA and Lutheran World Relief (LWR) as they support the people of Ukraine, there are envelopes in the gathering area for donations. We also have a LWR – Ukraine button added to our donate site on our website.  All donations will be sent out to LWR as soon as possible. Lifesaving humanitarian aid is already on its way to Ukraine via LWR and their partners. Our plan is to send out our donation to LWR by the end of the this month.

Scout Sabbath 2022 at Reformation

Our rescheduled Scout Sabbath is this Sunday, 3/20. The Colfer, Valentino, and Nulle families will be participating in our service this Sunday.

CLOTHES CLOSET/FOOD PANTRY UPDATE

The clothes closet is now accepting gently used spring and summer clothing including sneakers and sandals on Mondays and Thursdays from 9-5 weather permitting. The number of people served through the clothes closet has grown to 50-60 each time they are open. If you would like to join the team (even if only once in a while), please reach out to Sue Homza or Barbara Denegar

The food pantry continues to see our numbers rising. This past Tuesday we provided food to 60 families. There are a few items we cannot get from Fulfill right now: juice, pasta (not spaghetti), canned black beans, canned corn and canned peas. If you are out and see any good sales, please consider picking up an item or 2.
