FATHER’S DAY IS JUNE 16TH and as we have in the past we are also offering an opportunity to honor or remember the special men in our lives by making donations to our Endowment Fund.  The form is below and will also be in this week’s bulletin.

If you have someone on the prayer list and you would like them to remain on the prayer list for the new church year, please call (732-229-9180), email (reformationwlb@gmail.com) or leave a note on Debbie’s desk. Please remember, unless otherwise asked, we will put your loved ones name on the weekly spoken prayer list for 4 weeks and then they will remain on the prayer list below and in the monthly messengers indefinitely (until you let us know we can remove them).

COMMUNITY EVENTS

The 10TH Annual Chamber Music Spring Concert is at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Holmdel on Sunday, June 2nd at 3 p.m. This event will feature 3 talented local musicians playing the music of Bach, Schubert, Elgar, Schumann, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Prokoviev.  A free will offering will be taken to benefit ARC of Monmouth County. There is a flyer on the kiosk with full details.

RETURNING TO HUMAN: PRESPECTIVES ON POVERTY – a Community Gathering to Connect for Personal Growth at the Monmouth Reform Temple on Hance Ave. in Tinton Falls on Sunday, June 2 from 2-4 p.m. sponsored by JBJ Soul Kitchen and Integrated Care Concepts & Consultation. This is a free event open to everyone!  The flyer is on the kiosk with full details.

The New Jersey State Youth Orchestra will be performing its last spring concert on Sunday, June 2nd at 1 p.m. at Middletown South High School.  If you missed their performance here at Reformation, you should try to make this one. The kids are really impressive!! Cost is $15 per person. The flyer is on the kiosk in the gathering area with details.

BOOK SALE: First United Methodist Church is having a book sale this Saturday from 9-3.  All books will be $1 or less.  All proceeds will benefit the United Methodist Women’s Mission projects.  If you would like to donate books, please do!

{  Father’s Day Tribute {

On Sunday, June 16th we will be celebrating FATHER’S DAY.  We are providing an opportunity for honoring and remembering our fathers and the special men in our lives through the Endowment Fund.  We are providing a FATHER’S DAY TRIBUTE where contributions may be made to the church and applied to our Endowment Fund.  We have established three sections of the Endowment Fund.  The original section is General Endowment, which will continue to make grants and matching gifts.  The second section is for the Building Endowment and will be used exclusively for the repair or expansion of our church building.  The third section is for Feeding the Hungry. You may choose where you would like your gift applied by annotating in the appropriate sections identified below.  Simply make a contribution payable to Reformation Lutheran Church (in any amount) and complete this form.  Your form and donations may be placed in the offering plates, mailed to the church or placed on Debbie’s Desk— no later than June 9th
