No Saturday evening worship while Pastor Matt is on vacation

NJ MARATHON IS SUNDAY, APRIL 28TH

The NJ Marathon activities begin on Saturday down on the promenade at the Long Branch boardwalk. Then on Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. the NJ Marathon will begin at the Monmouth Park Race Track. The race will loop through Oceanport and Monmouth Beach before heading into and through Long Branch down into Asbury Park.  If you live in any of these towns or any town along Ocean Avenue, please know you will have detours, road closures, and need to leave extra time to get to church on the 28th!  Most roads along the race route will be closed a good bit before the actual start of the races at 7:30 a.m.

If you have someone on the prayer list and you would like them to remain on the prayer list for the new church year, please call (732-229-9180), email (reformationwlb@gmail.com) or leave a note on Debbie’s desk. Please remember, unless otherwise asked, we will put your loved ones name on the weekly spoken prayer list for 4 weeks and then they will remain on the prayer list below and in the monthly messengers indefinitely (until you let us know we can remove them).

NJ YOUTH ORCHESTRA – The NJ Youth Orchestra will be performing here on Saturday, May 4th at 1:30 p.m. – Come and enjoy. The concert is free and there will be refreshments. We will take a freewill offering to offset costs.

GREATER SHORE CONCERT BAND – The Greater Shore Concert Band will be performing here at Reformation on Tuesday, May 7th at 7:30 p.m.  This 50+ piece orchestra will perform show tunes, and various fun pieces for all to enjoy! The concert is free but we will take a free-will offering and will have refreshments as always.

RECYCLING DAY – West Long Branch will be holding a paper shredding/small electronics/eyeglass recycling day on Saturday, May 4 from 9-1 in the parking lot right across the street from the church. They will also be doing a food drive to benefit our food pantry. We will have volunteers staffing the table and getting the food over to the pantry!

A Spring Ring Handbell Concert – “Music through the Decades” Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to this free bell concert for an evening of beautiful music at Colts Neck Reformed Church on Sunday May 5th at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary followed by a reception in their fellowship hall. Colts Neck Reformed Church is at 139 Rt. 537 Colts Neck – ¼ mile west of Rt. 34. There will be 60+ ringers playing over 200 Malmark handbells and handchimes.
