Vacation Bible School – yes, it’s time to think about VBS – its right around the corner. Plans are being made and supplies need to be bought. We need your help!! Please be sure to sign up your children for VBS as soon as possible – 7/23-7/27 starting at 5:00 p.m. with a light kid friendly dinner followed by gathering time and the start of VBS at 5:30 with an ending time of 8 p.m.
If you have any questions, please see Debbie Keszler, Edie Jansen, or Alicia Willemsen
There is also an adult track VBS again this year – same time/same place – come and join us!!
Thank you to everyone who made donations to our Endowment Fund to honor or remember the special men in your lives strengthening the church for not only today but also tomorrow.
YOU ASKED – WE GOT THEM – We now have Stop and Shop food cards in addition to Shop Rite
What a great and simple way to support the church’s budget!! What exactly are “food cards”? They are actually gift cards to Shop Rite and Stop and Shop that you purchase for the face value (i.e. $100 card = $100 in food purchases!!!). But, the supermarkets give us 5% for every card we sell – the more we sell, the more we get back! It’s a simple way to support the church’s budget and it doesn’t cost you anything extra. These food cards are on sale in the gathering area every Sunday. If you worship on Saturday (or now Wednesday during the summer) and would like to purchase the cards, just let us know and we’ll make sure they’re available. If you need them during the week, stop into the office and Debbie will help you.

THE CAMP CONNECTION
CROSS ROADS CAMP AND RETREAT CENTER
Camp isn’t just for summer! All year round, people of all ages can come to Cross Roads to find a time and a place apart. Take in a big breath of new life. Marvel at how many different colors of green God has made. Spring retreats remind us that we are resurrection people. Not only does Cross Roads have retreats and Confirmation Camp for our confirmation students but it also offers age appropriate summer camp opportunities including family weekend camp opportunities. CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE AT: www.crossroadsretreat.com – Both the men’s and women’s retreats are now on the calendar!!!
MEN’S AND WOMEN’S RETREAT AT CROSSROADS
Crossroads Camp and Retreat Center has scheduled their synod wide women’s retreat for 9/29-10/1 and 10/13-10/15. Several of us here at Reformation have chosen to attend the 9/29-10/1 retreat to avoid a conflict with the annual CROP Walk which is 10/15. We invite all women of the congregation to attend – check out the retreat center on their website at www.crossroadsretreat.com Just know it’s first come, first serve so if you are thinking of attending, you need to register as soon as possible.
Then, men – for the first time ever there is a men’s retreat weekend on 10/20-10/22 which will be led by Pastor Bruce Davidson. It will be a new experience for all and promises to be as equally fun and spiritually renewing as the women’s retreats have been. All men of the congregation are invited to register for this retreat – check out the retreat center on their website too at www.crossroadsretreat.com
