UPCOMING EVENTS

LOOKING AHEAD:  On March 3rd we will hold our Transfiguration Sunday Pancake Brunch; and on March 10th we will hold our International Women’s Day Tea; both will be immediately after worship.  Signup sheets for both these events are now up in the gathering area.

2019 DIRECTORY – Our new directory has been printed and will be available next weekend for pickup!

EASTER LILIES AND TULIPS: We’ll be looking to place orders for our lilies and tulips within the next month so please be on the lookout for order forms!! We are awaiting final pricing from VanBrunt’s.

First Communion Class: When to begin receiving Communion is a mutual decision made by the person, their parents and the Pastor.  If there is anyone who desires to receive the sacrament, the first step in the process is to receive the age appropriate study materials and information.  Please reach out to Debbie K for the material.

Food Pantry/Clothes Closet update: As this is written, Sue is preparing the walls of the old pantry for painting and we are expecting the MU Bowling Team to arrive at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning to paint the old pantry with Sue.  They’ll also be moving the rest of the food (we hope) from the blue office into the new pantry!

Thank you:  Thank you to everyone who has signed up to do coffee hours from now until June. As of today the following dates are still available and goodies are needed:  May 12, June 2, June 23 and June 30 and then we are done for the summer!

Discover the Joy of being a Hospice Volunteer

If you have a warm heart, a listening ear, and the gift of compassion, you can make a difference in the life of a hospice patient or family member.  VNA Health Group is inviting individuals interested in becoming hospice volunteers to join our team in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties.

There are many rewards and opportunities available to hospice volunteers though home visitation, companionship, administrative support, pet therapy, or any complimentary therapies. We are also seeking volunteers interested in providing support calls to our patients and family members from our offices. Training will be provided by members of the Hospice team.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Pauline De Palma, BSW (732) 224-6933 or email: pauline.depalma@vnahg.org
